Hills Ahead

"Are we there yet?" is hard to answer with a map. Hills Ahead draws the whole road trip as one landscape built from real elevation data, with a little car showing exactly where you are on it.

  • The trip as terrain. Mountains out the window are mountains on the screen.
  • Landmarks along the way. Dams, canyons and forts, picked from Wikipedia.
  • Arrival at a glance. A big clock time, plus miles to go and miles traveled.
  • Works without signal. Trips are saved on the device once they start.

ahtocsv.com

Apple Health exports a single huge XML file that spreadsheets can't open. ahtocsv.com turns it into clean CSV files, one per metric, without the data ever leaving your browser tab.

  • Nothing is uploaded. The file is read locally, in a background worker.
  • Drop the zip as-is. No need to unpack the Health app's export first.
  • Pick what you need. Every metric is listed with its count and date range.
